This morning I left the house singing This Little Light of Mine...a song from my Bible School days....
And the song stuck with me a lot of the day...one of those ear worm things..
So for no specific reason, I decided to post it here on my blog...sung by none other than Bruce Springsteen. We sure didn't sing it like this in Bible School :-)
He is the light that lights every man that comes into the world.
Let is shine...let it shine...let it shine....

It struck me some time ago, that the "parable" of hiding the light under a bed etc. is not in reference to us doing the hiding, but rather that just as we would not do that, so also God would not hide His light in us either.
I know it says to let your light so shine that others may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. So that there is the two parts to it. He is the light within us, and just as we would not hide a light under a bed, so also the Father would not hide his light that is in us from shinning on others....... so therefore let His light that is in you shine......
